Anna Kendig Flores

Coach

Anna (she/her) focuses on antiracism & equity-focused institutional changework and organizing with over 50 congregations in the Twin Cities area. She also coaches with the SheRoars program in Chicago for women of color entrepreneurs and independently.

Before taking her current role, Anna served for almost a decade in hospital & acute mental healthcare as a board certified chaplain. In all her work Anna seeks to undo the roots of white supremacy culture via spiritual formation around history and hidden norms, embodiment and somatic practice, as well as cultivating space for life-enhancing connections, conversation, and spiritual practice among people of color.

Anna is a retired board certified chaplain (RBC; APC), is International Coach Federation Trained (Level 1), and also was a 2023 Aspen Institute Better Arguments Ambassador. She is also an ECD Culture Practitioner around fostering healthy organizational emotional culture.

When she’s at play, Anna can be found nurturing her indoor/outdoor garden filled with the Mexican, Syrian & Lebanese foods of her family roots, practicing healthy urbanism on her bike, and reading solarpunk & afrofuturistic fiction.
